Yes. I’ve noticed this in multiple asian novels. The word corrupted in English translates to a term like blackened (in soul and character not physically) in multiple Asian languages like Chinese and Korean. This is literally machine translation. The translation team should take context into consideration more and non-literally translate while maintaining the meaning.

Black people have different cultures and they steal from that. Not all black people share the same culture. Just like how not all Asians have the same culture, and like how not all black people are African American. When others do it then obviously black people do it as well that’s a fact.
