It's slowburn, that's why
It's slow burn and I think the decision with webtoon being mature is a win-win for those readers who wants more interaction and spicy moments between ml and mc though it would be much better if they cut too much info
*didn't cut too much info from the novel. I think they should've balance the game mechanics, other plot points, and the romance between mc and ml
Ahh so that is why, this my first time being impatient to slowburn interaction between two mains.. That kinda shocking, well, maybe bc of THIS webtoon that's why I expect too much while reading the novel.. I wasn't expecting that slowburn interaction at all, ..
Also yea I agree, when I read the Novel it's focused more on the game plot, while in webtoon it focused on BL interaction instead... Make sense some novel readers was mad at the webtoon artist as both have different plot objectives. Welp... it's better to not compare the webtoon to novel now.. cuz both have different goals. But for me, both are good on their own way..

Since I love this webtoon so so muchh... I started to read the novel with my heart ready learning the novel is not smut (19+), but yeah I still can't help but be disappointed.. (╥_╥) Unlike in webtoon the MC and ML interaction in novel is too rare and too slow, idk, It's like shounen ai, but not really Cuz sometimes it makes me think is it even a BL?? the scene of the MC and ML only last for few.. and their chemistry is slow. And it feels like I'm reading Game information, cuz the Novel was focused on the GAME CONSTRUCTION instead, and it's all about "Slice of Life" of the side characters.. But I did like some part of plot, about learning the MC efforts for his empire, his intelligence and strategies.. it's fun.. but I want more BL ,bruh~ I thought I could see more fluffy interaction between the cold Duke and Mc but, naur I'm disappointed, I don't have motivation to continue reading it now welp.. My salvation is the webtoon~
