it can come off wrong because it sound like you are calling a black person (as in race/skin tone) “blackie” and that can come off as racist or colorist so it’s just something to watch out for to make sure people don’t get attacked by it you know? <3

sorry buddy, but it is pretty frequently used by racists to refer to black people, so if you're speaking in an English speaking setting,, it's best to just say "black hair" or something to avoid any issues altogether. Why always have to explain yourself when you can avoid the offense/issue altogether, y'know what I mean?
