The ML didn't initiate the "talk" and just let them drift into FWB, yeah, bad thing, but also, the MC didn't do that either. Well, he did, and at that moment seme said no dude, don't want a relationship, better be end this then. Like, yeah, one was an asshole, the other a pushover. Yeah, you can always blame Ian for his advances because he is experienced and Noah is not. But that also sucks because Noah knew of his own feelings prior to going into this FWB relationship. And he was so afraid of rejection that he continued to stay in this relationship. It wasn't until his feelings of being abandoned was so great that he had finally decided to stand up. And by standing up, it wasn't even to accuse Ian, it was just, oh shit, my fears has come true. You can view Ian as having taken advantage of Noah, knowing of his feelings, or that they just naturally come together, and Ian didn't define the relationship, and Noah was too scared to broach the subject the first time around. And then stayed onboard, until his fear so great it forced him to confront the issue.

I mean I get what both of you are saying I am not disagreeing. Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate the ML or the MC, I just have a somewhat bias against the ML because at least for me personally you can tell way before even trying to become FWB how the other person feels.. I just want them to explain this pheromone disease alrwady and have a chapter with plot more then the sex because the authors other work they like to focus heavily on the sex not so much the plot :/
ML is an asshole, but he's a self acknowledged asshole. That is why I like him better than the MC, as unpopular of an opinion as that is.
Here's my defence.
From ML's perspective, he starts a FWB relationships with this guy who doesn't complain about it until uke starts developing feelings, when that happens seme breaks it off because he doesn't want a relationship and HAS NOT PROMISED A RELATIONSHIP. After a while he gets his tut, can't find his rut stopper or whatever that was, and because I guess he doesn't want to spread his pheromones around and get all omegas in vicinity all crazy horny, he takes a leave of absences and goes home. Ay this point he's out of his mind, basically the equibalent of drunk, he's incapable of controling himself. Then the next morning he realises someone was there taking advantage of his rut madness, and didn't just fuck him without actual consent, but also bit him and basically forced him into biological life marriage. Then, after a while again, he finds out his rapidt was actually his former FWB who not only took advantage of him at his lowest and run away not confessing about it, but also got pregnant and kept SEME'S OWN CHILD away from seme, forcing him into being an absentee father. AND, the kid is seems has the same disease the seme had, an expensive disease that seme could've long helped with, but uke insisted to endanger their kid because of his cowardice. Just to reiterate, a child is made by two people, but only one of them had the choice of abortion.
On the uke's side, he's not exactly fine with a no strings attached relationship but doesn't say anything. Gets all sad and lonely when the guy that didn't pretend to have feelings for him says that he doesn't have feelings for him and stops their FWB relationship. Then, ine day, in this world where everyone knows about heats and ruts, he realises that his extra alpha former FWB dropped his heat stopper and then took a leave if absences from school for the day. IF uke would've put his second neuron to work, supposedly he is intelligent, he would've had this thought that hey, maybe he's in rut aka out of his mind amd extra horny, maybe it's better I DON'T RAMDOMLY SHOW UP AT HIS DOORSTEP. but he choose to fool himself into beliving that, because it's an expensive thing, he should shop up to the apartment of his former FWB and actual stranger woth no relationship whatsoever instead of sending a text because the stalker inside uke wanted to see his crush one more time .Then he spontaneously turns into an omega and gets his heat. What happens next wasn't either seme's or uke's, tho especially not seme's, he went home when he moticed his rut stopper is missing and didn't get any omega pregnant on the way there. Then, when uke wakes up, he runs away leaving seme ti think, for years, that he just got raped and branded in his own home. Because yes, when you're inebriated you can't give consent, si it was rape from his perspective. No, if I was the seme I would've taken the child from him first amd then maybe see if we can mend the relationship because it's better for the kid to have both parents close to him, but never forgive him. Instead, seme forced him to marry and move in and than get back into a sexual relationship where this time around it's the uke who gets consent more or less taken away from him, because he is a self acknowledged asshole.
