THANK YOU! lol it's not just this site either, I keep seeing comments in that same vein on other platforms and it's so frustrating. Like let people and characters have wholesome friendships without it having to be more. And voting badly because it's not GL is crazy.
No fr because I usually only read stuff that’s 9.4+ rating and I’m glad I started this when it was rated 9.5 because now it’s 9.1 due to people being too dumb to read the tags and getting mad
Same! I used to only read books with a high rating or if the majority of comments are positive, but I've just recently stopped doing that because people just can't be trusted lol. I'm now actually finding a lot of books with low ratings or negative comments, tend to get added to my favorites because they're actually good but just getting down votes for silly reasons. Now I just go off my own judgement and if it's good it's good, if it's not I drop it. Like I can already guess that this book is about to get even lower in ratings, without actually being read properly.

Not being dramatic when we have been on this site for years where ppl are upset it’s not gl/bl or the like and give negative reviews to a decent story just because it’s not their sexual story preference
I’m surprised that there is so many negative comments, I’m enjoying having a main character who is strong, loyal and wields a sword. Powerful women are my favourite
