1: i understand what your trying to say however jt didn’t add anything to the story, once it happened it was forgotten about right away and basically never talked about again.

2: after it happened the novel rating dropped by a long shot and lots of people ended up dropping it, so it didn’t keep the story flowing at all.

3: “and no there is no countless ways” which your wrong about, the AUTHOR could’ve came up with countless ways to save her life which didn’t involve the one he thought of. It doesn’t matter if their was somebody or something that was capable of saving her the idea was bad in general.

The idea wasn’t a bad one it was simply the method used that people disliked including me, so when I say “countless ways” I mean other methods with the same idea could’ve worked. On top of that if i remember correctly a few people stated their was another idea brought up in the novel, or well a thought of an idea so just in general the method wasn’t needed

As for the idea we were never told what it was, maybe it was stated in the novel somewhere but for us an another idea was brought up and they didn’t pick to do it for whatever reason. So no we don’t know if it would’ve been faster then the idea given but the fact that another one was available or even thought of is my point.

I don't know how yall are but as a mother there's nothing as precious as the lives of my children meaning I would do ANYTHING if I can save them except of course dine with the devil and as a victim of sexual abuse I don't want to look at this in that light because abusers enjoy that power they have over their victims even when the consent it not there but that's not what happened. Of course not, it’s a fictional story so does that give the author any sorts of right to romanticize certain traumatic events?
