So I read the comments before reading the story and saw a lot of people saying the uke deserve a better group of friends but I don't get it

The friends are good it's just the MC's own thoughts that made them seem bad.

Yes! I thought that too... since I saw a lot of comments about how mc deserved better friends I did read the story thinking they're bad
