There are many different versions of the omegaverse but in most of the ones i've read, they dont have to be opposite to have babies. Two alphas can have have children as can two betas etc. In fact in many series, it seems that two alphas having a baby together is prefered in society as alphas tend to have a higher social status. Meanwhile omegas have a very low social status. Thats why just like in this series, marriage between alphas and omegas are looked down upon. Idk if that answers your question.
