I don't think they mentioned Inferna differentiating yet? In their world, he's pretty young for a dragon (idk how they age, but they did point out he's technically only 10 and the ones who know dragons call him young too). I think they all just assume that bc he's a dragon he's an alpha.

Especially with how in their empire alphas are seen as the strong ones who rule the country, I don't think they would even think of the possibility that the dragon that symbolizes the strength and glory of their empire would be an omega.

Plus, I think Inferna himself would have a hard time even wrapping his head around the idea that he could be an omega, so I think he would just also assume that he's an alpha.

I also don't think Limon has let Inferna have a lot of interactions with people who aren't betas as well.

The Fire Queen sounds like she was basing Inferna being an "top alpha" due to his build, as well as the fact he was able to immediately pick out that the Red Dragon was an omega. Though Inferna immediately thought about how "this is an omega? But Limon smells different than this?", and he didn't seem that interested in the Red Dragon himself despite it being the first time interacting and smelling the pheromones of someone other than Limon. He was interested in Limon's pheromones, which was different from the Red Dragon's, who's an omega.

And I might be wrong, but at least since the time skip I don't think Limon has told Inferna directly that he's an omega or even an alpha, he's always let Inferna call him an omega and I get the vibe that when Inferna had Limon "pinned" on the bed and he was said that Limon was an omega and he was an alpha that when Limon said "alpha?" he was questioning Inferna's statement of he himself was an alpha (especially with Limon basically went "okay, I'm no longer gonna be in the submissive position, HE'S gonna be in it instead").

It just seems like Limon is an alpha and Inferna might be an omega.

(Also, think of from an fanfic writer's POV. I think this would be more interesting:
This cute little angel everyone thinking is an omega growing up to be a "top alpha". And oh that huge dragon that is supposed to either kill him/his kingdom? What if that dragon was an omega? (And what if they were roommates? (for the majority of their childhoods at least))

I don't mind alpha x alpha, it just seems like the route this story is going is that "oh the one you thought was an alpha? They're an actually an omega. And the one you thought was an omega? They're an alpha!"

I bet that after tribulation, he will change to omega. Red dragon said to be able change to human need rebirth or so, maybe that will be a time he will change to omega? （￣へ￣）
But, his build is really like an alpha. I mean, he is 10 y.o dragon, but his body is already bigger than red dragon. It seem if he didnt do tribulation he will be alpha, and maybe the plottwist he change to omega during tribulation ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I just can't help but think of that potion the step-mother have the other prince, I'm guessing it's probably a heat induced or the like (since they're confident that Limon is an omega is wouldn't be anything to change their second gender) and the goal is to embarrass him, so an omega going into heat inside of a hall filled with alphas is probs what the step-mom takes as "embarrassing".

I can guess three things would happen:

1. Limon takes it and nothing happens.

2. Limon takes it and goes into rut instead, revealing that he's an alpha (which I'm pretty sure his plan is to that anyways, so they would just be helping him).

3. Inferna overheard/sees someone pouring something into Limon's drinks and either knows it's an heat inducer or thinks that someone is trying to poison him (he would see both as bad, bc they are), and drinks it instead (if he knows its a heat inducer, he would think it would have no effect on him, and maybe if he thinks it's poison he might just assume it wouldn't effect a dragon the same way it would a human), but it ends up effecting him (possibly with Limon revealing he's an alpha in the process).

(Ngl I realize Limon and Inferna are a little Arthur and Merlin coded (blonde hair prince who's kingdom is represented by a dragon and the dark haired helper who is physically connected to dragons that just wants to protect the blonde (partially due to a "prophecy" of some kind)).)

In ch 18, there is a part where Limon hugged him and said something about Inferna's smell and he started to get touchy. They got swept by each other's smell in ch. 19 so I assume he's already an omega without knowing it himself.
