She's seen how strays are treated... atleast house pets aren't going g to get beaten by a random person cus its the owners "responsibility" to deal out punishment!

I agree. I understand that she doesn't want to feel like a pet but she has to remember....this is NOT her world. Beast people are way stronger than humans. She acts like she's strong enough but all of us see she can easily be tossed around like a rag doll. She either need to change herself to be stronger or get off her high horse and take things at face value. （￣へ￣）
I like & am quite invested in the girl's inner conflict. She doesn't seem naive or stupid. Sora's looking a bit sus too hmm...
