Because the ML was in the beginning also an a**hole but his character gets least a development and he became the boy friend. That is not happening in Jinx.

They love Jinx bec they think Jaek is super handsome. But no, Jiwon will always be the blueprint of handsomeness. Imagine this was Mingwa 1st BL but he drew Jiwon still so handsome, even when the quality is not like now. We knew Jiwon was a jerk at first but for me he is still way way better than Jaek!
You can wait until 100 chaps but he will never be better than Jiwon. or BJ ALEX.
