In the majority of the sex scene with the exceptions being like the last 3 the MC was crying saying No, Stop, It Hurts. Having inner monologue about how he hates it? If he was always a horny little bastard fine but that factually was not the case.

There was never the subtext in the drawing nor speech to imply he enjoyed it up until recently. It always read to me a him trying to survive and endure. I can’t speak for the novel as I haven’t read it.

Again there is a lot of bubble speech between one sex scene and even in the sex scenes there are "I should be guiding my brother" and "my brother is in a hospital bed" "my brother needs me" is repeated a lot in the beginning while he guides and while he say "stop" this is what he thinking so A+B=in his mind "how can I guide someone when I can't guide my brother"(I think he actually thinks exactly that in one of the panels...to lazy to search) this is his first mindset thats why he doesn't want to guide them....besides the obvious that the espers are pushy, after blond tells him the truth about his guiding it shifts to "I did that, I put my brother in that hospital bed", "my guiding did that", "if only I wasn't a guide" "its my faut" and "I don't want this" again A+B= " my guiding did that to my brother I can't guide someone" and the complicated feelings of his guiding destroying his beloved brother but helping and being needed by his rapers and them as a normal Stockholm syndrome(saying it with words you are familiar of the meaning being associated with developing feelings for the predator works?) he starts to literally not having a meaning for his life and a place to belong ("because he is alone") at the same time he is bombarded by these people saying he is needed by them that his fate is them and anyone will be tempted by that, MC is not dump he knows he is starting to feel tempted ("because he is afraid") and he knows all his feelings for his brother have been guilty(for being the one who did that) sadness(because his last family is dying) and pain for a while now....then he proceed to admit it out loud to someone who feels the same way he does about his little sister("because he is exausted" of everything but probably mainly of feeling guilty) he is seeking understandment and reliefe as much as he is seeking punishment and suffering (that's how humans naturally feel when they are guilty, it is human wanting the suffering to end and when you feel guilty you feel you need to be punished so you can redem but somethings can't be redeemed) here he finish the process of going to being raped and feelings powerless to using rape as selfpunishment HUMANS ARE NOT STATIC you are never only one thing you are always changing and in the process of something, I think you are too used to see unidimentional characters, doesn't you have real connection to humans? Just because your friend is nice and sweet to you it doesn't mean she can't do no wrong, right? I love to study psych and outside of MC obsession with his brother (what again is okay and undersdable when taking in consideration his background) all his reactions and troughs and changes are pretty common response to rape, trauma and imprisonment
I admit I got angry bc how you see MC is how people see rape victims who develop the "wrong kind" of problem with sex after, (like using sex as a punishment is common in prolonged rapes, MC was conditioned to it....but is also common that normal sex with a secure person feels empty after...and the person needing more stimulus to "forget the world" while doing it) and I was speacialy trigger by "sluty little bastard" cuz of a specific case of a child who was abused and was always trying to stimulate herself (as a kid she didn't understand she shouldn't do it in public obviously) normal people usually understand immediately where this came from and that it doesn't make her less than a victim....but it was always the religious who saw it as something about her character as they don't see sexual desire as a normal fisical response....but that is not the only case like lacerations in the canal in adult woman are not a indicative of anything in most cases....but they still use it in court like it is proof of something if she doesn't have it and it is difficult to explain how this doesn't take the credibility of the victim
