those are their names initials. adachi's name is kiyoshi and kurosawa's yuuchi. kurosawa bought the aprons in advance while fantasizing a partnership with adachi haha.
it stands for the initials of their first names, but KY is also a slang for "kuuki yomenai", as in "can't read the room", so it's a double pun.
I saw the anime by coincidence while looking for something quick when I was about to eat and found this manga. I love it so much. But I wanna know what the K and Y on those aprons mean? I don't think I get it...
