Well there's the fact that Mo x He Tian became more popular than XiXi x Jian Yi. But I still thought that their (xixi and jian yi) relationship would level up after the separation. Cos from what it seems, Xixi and Jian Yi has built up their relationship since childhood unlike He Tian and Momo that when we think about it, they just recently met and the author had to work more on building it up to make it more sense that they're attached to each other even after those years of separation.

If I remember correctly it’s been so long xixi is aware of jian yi’s feelings for him and although doesn’t say he reciprocates verbally he does accept them and doesn’t pursue anyone outside of him, however we are still in the past and are still missing the part where jian yi disappears again so I don’t think we’ll have any kiss between them for a while

Okay so they don’t flat out say it I knew it. I mean I notice you know when they talked about the feelings but I was like no official anything happen it just kinda blended into it
