Yeah literally in most novels like this, the mc would awaken some super powerful magic and beat the person. But so far the mc has lost a lot and it’s just building up his strength to reach his end goal

I like how the mc isnt some really powerful person which noone can beat him. i like how he actually spars with powerful people and lose but still learns a thing or two, no offence just seems semi-relistic to me.
