Also I love how the ending is like a callback to the first chapter.
Where innocent zero thinks mash is about to use magic when mash picks up his wand and is confused. However, mash just uses it to swing back the water and innocent zero’s like dumbfounded at his use of the wand XD
which fits perfectly for when he picks up his Pop’s wand in the first chapter and then the police guy thinks he’s about to use magic and is confused, but then mash just throws the wand at him like a bullet, and the police guy is just dumbfounded at his use of the wand lol
It’s very fitting that the series starts and ends with him “using” the wands of his “fathers” (Pops is his only real dad let be real here)
I honestly was so surprised when domina died, cause that was like the first good(?) character death in this series that my brain legit couldn’t process it for a second XD THEN EVEN MORE PEOPLE DIED AND DOMINA SUDDENLY COMES BACK AND THEN DIES AGAIN. I WAS LOSING IT.
But I’m really glad it kept to a kind of gag(?)-like tone and don’t have any actual character deaths(by the end, everybody is resurrected and healed and stuff). Especially since this IS a story about Mash just wanting to live in peace with everyone, and if some of those people died, it wouldn’t feel like a perfect victory.
Again, loved this story so much and I just loved how it stayed committed to Mash completely ruining the mood and tension of the story XD also really nice that he didn’t actually “awaken” magic or something in the end and that he just needed pure unadulterated muscles to beat everybody lol XD
There’s so many stuff that was funny but I legit spat out my drink when he stopped the sword with his FUCKING EYELIDS. Also the continental(literally) kickboard was so funny XD
I’m gonna miss this story and I kinda wish for like a slice of life spin off at this point of just mash graduating with everyone and becoming a patisserie lol, just him actually living in peace with everyone, and maybe even connecting with some of his brothers, like domina(turned absolutely baby at the end and I love that for him)
