News flash while that is the ideal notion however not everytime and every hurdle can be solved simply by being together under the bonds of mutual trust. It depends on the person and the situation. Real talk it's a case to case basis and even if I was transparent about everything I would still choose to not involved them because I don't want to see them in pain

You are probably someone who think everything is sunshines and rainbow. Either you fail to see reality or you have your own beliefs of what reality should be or you deny the ideal norm. I know a lot of acquaintances most of them are couples when they were sharing their experience one aspect of it was something about the wife's problem long story short both her and her husband tried their best to fix whatever issue they were dealing with and it ended poorly for them and they separated. My cousin too also had problems but she chose to fix her issue by herself because she didn't want her BF getting involved. Her BF was aware of the stuff that were concerning since she told him about it and wanted to help but my cousin stopped him and the BF respected her choice in the end she resolved everything and they're still going strong today. Point is the statement above doesn't always come through
