everything would have been the same if she didn't get greedy and tried not to get rid of Edith. Just because the previous ediths went to same path as the original ones it does not mean that anyone who will take over as the new edith will do the same.

It wasn’t her first time playing this scenario, she played it so many times where she’s the heroine and Edith dies all the time, she enjoyed the fact Edith died , until the system changed when this new “ Edith” reincarnated. She loves the control she has over others, she doesn’t care for love, she is possessive evil bitch who relishes in others pain.
Yeah and that’s the exact reason for her downfall. Her evil antics are what gave Edith a chance to even fulfill the exception conditions. Again, it’s just bitches getting what they deserve and we love to see it lol

Why did I now just realise that the previous dead Ediths were all reincarnations?! So basically she was killing all of them , people from real world, and not just novel characters and ahe knew it! Someone who doesn’t know this would have given her the benefit of the doubt thinking that she thinks of this world as just a fictional universe in a novel and the characters are not real humans if u know what I mean, this idea has been around in several other manhwas where the heroine realises that the characters are real people and should treat them as so. You know, if the author wasn’t such a jealous and self centered bitch, they wouldn’t have to be worried about their authority being broken and growing old/breaking the cycle.
The first exception broke because mc lost all hope because of the author’s antics.
The second rule broke because SHE herself told killeon to invite Edith out(which she rejected 10 times in a row, fulfilling the exception)
Finally(spoiler about third exception),
She’s the one that caused the kidnapping incident or at least manipulated it in some way, and then left Edith there to take the blame. That’s when she gives up her life and accepts being killed by Killeon at the trial and that breaks the last exception.
All of those times, this was caused by the author’s meddling and need to be at the center of the world. If she, let’s say, decided for this Edith to also just be happy for this cycle, they would still have their authority by the end of the series and can restart like a new cycle or some shit.
Anyway, bitches always get their just deserts because of their bitchiness lol
