that girl was on like 2 week bender and the hardest drugs you can imagine. unless mathew had the desire to gouge out his eyes, it’s not the same thing. he took pure drugs but as someone who has taken you can only do that sort of thing if that’s who you are as a person. don’t be a rapist defender
There was a case where a girl gouged her own eyes out with her bare hands thinking she had to save the world while high on meth. Rape is rape, that’s no argument but sober Matthew probably would have never done something like this to Jin like how the girl would have never self-mutilated if she wasn’t high. I wish people would understand it’s not black and white in this case.
