im going to be clear as well. the whole world but ESPECIALLY conservative countries like korea have MASSIVE issues with rape culture. it is reflected in the media they produce and consume. places like Korea and Japan also have a much lower reporting rate of sexual crimes because of how much more their culture shames victims (and in the US this is also still bad so imagine what its like in the east). the reason why something like this would never be aired on american TV, or if it was it would be HEAVILY criticized, is because we have a little bit better of an understanding of rape culture because we speak out more in the west. so this cultural difference makes it clear that places like Korea need to do a lot more work on rape culture and the media they produce.

i didn't say I'm correct im just voicing what i think, because for me that word gets thrown alot what you said may be sexual assault but not rape for me, because as i have said if he still insist after him waking up and pushed it inside him then it's the R Word. But even then I don't think i should be calling this the R word. I'm not saying you should agree with me, im just saying that this is what i think it is, and there is nothing wrong with that, let's just say we agree to disagree.

what? im perpetuating rape culture just because I don't agree with you? okay i see, you are judging someone you don't personally know based on their different opinion. Not everyone has the same culture as you, just because someone doesn't define something as how you define it doesn't mean that person should be ASHAMED of their opinion. Stop judging me when you don't know me, it's okay to disagree with someone who has a different opinion than you, but it is never okay to judge someone who has done nothing wrong to you. Especially if you don't personally know who they are and how they live their lives. Please be polite in arguments you can disagree with me without calling me slurs.

yeah so by saying rape isnt rape, you are being a rape apologist and perpetuating rape culture yes. this is not an opinion thing, this is a criminal one. he started having sex with a passed out drunk person without consent... by LAW that is rape. that is a violation regardless of if he was enjoying it at the time and if theyre dating. REFLECT.
