Diana thinks she is special than others because of the gift that she received from their god. There were no others until Hestia appeared. I honestly believe if Diana didn’t stop helping the poor when she married Helios, she would still have her abilities as a saintess.
but that's not the case till the last chapters in the novel she stayed like that, holding her beliefs that she was chosen and she's right disregarding the fact that the her temple was ruined because of its own corruption.
Yes, I’m aware and read the novel too. I was referring to if she didn’t only use her abilities on the royal family (2 persons) instead of for all, she may still have her abilities. Then Hestia may not have died in the previous timeline. Regarding the temple, it was corrupt before and after Diana existed.
