Look, I love TJ too. He's my favorite by far and I'm almost OBSESSED with him. But let's not start shitting on the love interest we don't like/like less to justify that we love the other one better.

I think both TJ and Jo are good characters. They are VERY different, that's why I find this love triangle really interesting. It's completely fine to like Jo or TJ better than the other, it really depends on personal taste.

Joseph is actually written to be the opposite of TJ. Avoid expecting something similar to TJ in him. All the characters are unique and different. Besides his character development and potential hasn't been explored yet.

i mean i dont think what i said is considered shitting on a character, i just think Jo isnt interesting compared to TJ, but maybe im just a sucker for a loyal gangster who will do anything for the person they love

i guess its just that i dont think Jo is really connected to the MC? idk i mean tj and ian share something special and deep, something that took years to tie, i feel like ian and jo’s relationship is still pretty shallow even after 40 chapters… i feel like they’ll never have something quite the same as what ian has with tj, i mean they went through shit and back together, you dont just lose your feelings with a flick of a wrist, after being with each other for better and worse yk? idk maybe im not making sense sorry lol

Yeah don't take what I said to heart. I answered to you, but it was mostly a general comment because I see many readers starting a ship war between Jo and TJ. And you're right, you didn't say anything too bad. Your comment is way more tamed compared to other stuff you can read in this comment section.

I mostly agree with what you said! I love the connection between Ian and TJ. I really hope they will be endgame and they can work a way to be happy and safe. But I also hope Jo will have his time to shine because I think he could be interesting too.

I mean is it really fair to compare the relationship between a nearly 2 decade vs barely a month?
Of course there wouldn’t be as much connection. But we can see Ian is slowly being affected by Jo.

Ian said he used to have feelings for TJ but I think there’s still some sort of guilt and trauma that makes him hold onto TJ and some lingering feelings. But TJ seems to focus more on the gang world whereas Ian wants a normal life and love.

And Jo is exactly that. Normal and can give love above anything else.

But hey I get what you’re trying to say. I just don’t think it’s fair to compare their length of being together. TJ is more thrilling because he’s living the life we consider dangerous.

Yeah it’s hard for me to choose either of the MLs, the happiest route would probably be a throuple for me but that’s just me. I wonder if author may do that as a plot twist or something. Hopefully. Both the MLs are good in their own ways.
