This is a spin off, the only relation is that Baek Hanjoon is heart broken due to Jaeha who is in Lover Boy. Other than that, the story stands alone

The thing is he never actually gave the impression at all he was heart broken and this is actually an issue I had with LoverBoy in general. The characters don’t evoke emotion in a way that even feels like “love”, emotions horseshoes between obsession or emotionally distant. Baek Hanjoon just had such idgaf attitude even now that I just don’t buy him caring. I mean even now his first introduction back to us as readers is his attempt at at a one night stand because that the sort of person he is, his not some romantic and I can respect that but i personally like him realistically would be a bachelor forever or just if he ends up in a relationship if at all it’d be an open one for sure.
Well, he did cling to Jaeha from uni to work life
Can't guarantee if he's really in love or not tho
