forgive a mother like that. She doesn't care for her daughters at all. If she did, she would care that everything about the men they marry is right. That they are a man that suits her in all aspects. Alexei gives off a vibe like a man who will abuse his wife and potentially even kill her. He would probably force himself on her and violate her after marriage, torture her like that and then go in an out with multiple mistresses, treat a child they have like shit and maybe give her some disease.
