They usually do this or some bs in the beginning where the mc gets "calm heart" powers. I feel like they do things like this so they can be lazy and not worry about their character's emotions and just draw fight scenes
aint a question but i hate it when the plot is trying so hard to make the mc strong. i do love a well written one but the one that's trying too hard to make the characters lived w traumas n then they become heartless n scary all of the sudden like?? its really cringe. especially when it comes to little kids. yeah i get the plotline, been abused n all, she wanted to be strong for revenge n kill all the bloodline at the age of 12, blabla but whaa?? sure, the mc is strong but just because they arent heartless or scary doesn't mean the characters are weak. its the way you execute your storyline. unrealistic character development really does spoils my mood on reading shit.
