1: everybody has their own expectations when they read something and normally go based off of genres and tags or even descriptions, no where did it suggest the author was going to make “romantic” undertones about the two in AU or anything like that. The TikTok videos show or talk about them having a father and son relationship SO do most of the comments when displayed on the front page, so what other expectations did you expect ppl to have?
2: nobody is shitting on the author because they didn’t meet their expectations, their “shitting” on the author because they simply don’t like what their doing you have several stories that can meet certain expectations yet people still can point out a detail they didn’t like or something they assumed would work better, that’s what happens when you create stories or books.

You cannot judge a persons imagination based on your standards, your normal is not other person's normal.
