You can read them from bellereservoir. The free chapters are up until the half of the novel but the plot progression is very good. Also, it is r18. :D
Ive read the whole novel as shared by a friend, it's really nice. Minor spoiler: the ML improves SO MUCH. the title says "obsessive" but he's not so red flag. Sometimes he's pathetic af but it's cute hahaha
The manhwa is still good, but it took away a good deal of the characterisation because it omitted quite a bit of info from the novel. (like the trip to the blacksmiths, the potato farm, Ciel's indepth observation of Irene's tiny habits etc) I highly recommend the novel translations
