my random rant that probably doesn't make sense

I started this manwha Friday night and finished the novel Saturday night. yes I binged all 65 chapters. I think it has two or three extra chapters that just showcase the diary. It was this manwha ch 26 quote, that you cant hate someone who hasn't done anythi8ng to you that made me realize thi8s wasnt a story that could be flipped into sick childs benefit. As we learn later ml brought MC the opportunity to come and see him because ml felt a strong pull to MC after reading his letters. I'm mc never actually did anything to sick child, only a few hostile glares. But at the end of reading the novels all I could think was it was a lucky thing they were switched because it gave MC the chance to gain favor from ml. Because if MC had grown up where he should have grown up which was next to ml, he would have been treated the way sick child is now. Which is to be fond over by someone else's mom while she neglects ml and runs out of a fire forgetting that she has her has her own child. This brings me to the true antagonist of the story; ml's mother, and the adults. Ml's mom was so in love with MCS Mom that she wasnt even agood m9om or wife, and her husband sadly loves her unrequitedly. I8 also feel sad for him. That's so sad. Honestly the adults suck and if sick child didn't end up going to a rich family who knows if the little sister would have even been born since that despicable thief of a family wouldn't have been able to afford his medication. So at the end of everything, as sad as MC's life turned out to be in the beginning, it turned out pretty well. And yes it's thanks to ml but it's also thanks to MC not giving up also dealing the hand that he was dealt. I just wish that sick child wouldn't have had to be forced to live in the shadow of his mom, well the woman he thought was his mom, and wasn't so spoiled Silly by the adults. Maybe then things would have been different for him but he chose a terrible path. So when I say by flipping the story that it could benefit him and I don't see it, what I mean is he took that dagger into his own hands because he was living under the forced shadow of the woman he thought was his mom , and because of the adults. But if the story was told in a way where someone took over sick child's body and helped him befriend MC they could have done some serious damage to the adults. That would have been more of a win-win case. Because when you really read the novel at least in my opinion, I don't think MC really did anything to the sick child . But then again that's my opinion and I could be forgetting some stuff but I don't think I am. That ends my rant for now I don't even know if it made sense

Oh and to add on, i deleted this part accidentally, sick kid never seemed romantically interested in the ml. Like art granddaughter said, being friends shouldnt affect ml having a partner. Her little quote, think ch 18 of manwha or so is what I feel applied here since sick and ml didnt have any romance...at least none that I picked up or usually see.
