So she was just letting her husband run wild? I just don't understand how they don't speak with each other especially when they know the future of their kids is vastly different from their own. It should be the parent's job who knows what's going on, to take the lead and tell the other parent that they don't want what they want. Of course you should give the child space to eventually say it themselves. But also reassure them that they will speak with the other parent. Idk, I just hate that she's made to look like the parent that's on their side but you're not taken care of YOUR husband.
