The thing is he was always going to betray her. The only difference is that because she changed the one constant was his betrayal. He still made the choice to leave with another woman and to save his life married her. Now our girl has done nothing wrong and has a good man as her husband who loves her and is no longer bond to his original plot.
What do you mean? Is Lina manipulating him with her powers? It was his own will to leave with Lina the day before the wedding, fully aware his fiancé would die if something happens! And then when he came back he had the nerve to accuse her of marrying another man instead of being relieved that she was alive and apologetic for what he did! Fully knowing he left her to die and that he also married someone else. Sorry he deserves everything..
lina didnt do shit with her powers callis made those choices voluntarily, even if he was manipulated into it. he CHOSE to go out with lina for her childish reasons days before the wedding with a blizzard coming upon them. he chose lina over seria, point blank period
do we know that though? i know that's what seria believes but it's clear she doesn't know shit about lina right? i'm not saying you're wrong but as far as i can tell callis would never willfully put THIS seria's life in danger. it seems to me that even if he can't be with her and we find out the reason that happened is bc lina manipulated his mind then he deserves more credit than seria is giving him but that doesn't change that she almost died bc of him and she has no reason to forgive him for that day.
yeah that's true i feel like the difference to me though is like they did have the right timing in theory and were getting married before this incident so perhaps all that happened that day is he lost the one he loves and doesn't really understand why bc it CAN'T make sense. at least i guess maybe i'm hoping that's the truth.

If we're talking about timing, I don't think it's the right time, especially when, as others mentioned, he chose to go out with lina when it was their wedding during a blizzard, and seria almost died because of his lack of responsibility. If I were seria, I would definitely hold it against him, ESPECIALLY, since he was with another woman. Given the circumstance, I'm not sure how he doesn't get that and respect why and how she fell out of love tbh not to mention how neglected she felt before all of that happened. If it's all lina's doing, sure, fine, but it doesn't erase the fact that seria was mistreated and was almost killed.
