I don't think putting that so called best friend character into the story was necessary at all - I thought having Mujin as the hindrance was enough, more than enough actually since I like his character as well. But I really don't like the other's character at all. I mean see, the debt could've been solved (kinda) just w Mujin's presence. Hell, I almost forgot that it was that best friend character that tried to solve it first. So point being is, now the plot just got so unnecessarily complicated from a casual isekaid protagonist that cooks delish food and treats ml good to avoid death, attracting the villain's(?) attention, solving the debt problem --- instead now we have this whole return to mc's original world :(
Spoiler alert: - - - - - - - The best friend was necessary to the story since he’s tied into the reason for why the MC even got into the story in the first place. Looks like him and his relative(?) are the ones able to go from the real world and to the story and make it so that the mc can go there.
