Kael loves Hestia that's given and it was partly some miscommunication/misunderstanding but I'm slightly disappointed.

To me... I wanted Kael to choose Hestia over any other person or situation. But he chose to be neutral and save Diana in a way because Helio requested it. And I know he feels nothing for Diana or heli now... But to choose them?? And agree to them and protect the crown over Hestia. My Bruh you should've atleast explained and talked it out with Hestia. That's how I felt. Idk... I'm a little upset. Shouldn't have read the novel chapters or the spoilers. I'm even on my perioddd which makes me more infuriated.

I think it's a good novel.
Because it's realistic.
The writer want to plot the direction of the novel to be as realistic as possible.
It's refreshing to read a satisfying revenge ending in a story.
But that couldn't be applied in reality.
Realistically, there would be consequences that could not be resolved easily for those refreshing revenge ending.

Yes yes... At first Helio was trying to protect the crown but he also tells Diana after the whole incident that he was gonna announce to everyone that she doesn't have her saint powers anymore and she is no longer a saint. Denounce her saintly status of something. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

(To me Helio was sorta still trying to work out their marriage, giving second chances to both himself and Diana in a way). He even tells Diana that he doesn't want a saint only in name because of her powers but he wants her to change for the better and be a better person, the kind of saint even when she doesn't have her powers, people would still look up to her. The one that people would recognize because she's a good human being first. (he says it in his words but I'm just summarizing it in my words) at the end of that all he says that they might find each other back again and that he still finds her the most beautiful and even calls her out because she was LITERALLY CHASING AFTER KAEL even tho she a saint and a married woman. (Gimme a break I just HATE DIANA)

But our unbending, hypocritical, wannabe home wretcher, stupid, pick me, fucking fake ass saint, she just mocks Helio in her thoughts and see where that landed her. SHE ONLY HAS HERSELF TO BLAME.

Good people do bad things sometimes but that doesn't meant they don't change and learn adn strive to be better. In Diana's case she is just a hypocrite. I like evil characters and villainess but I like evil when they really are truly, purely evil and also when their circumstances made them that way. But in DIANA'S case she's a lost cause, stupid, full of herself, blaming everyone but herself and the way she does things. It's hilarious.

Yes, I understand...its realistic. Like I wholly truly understand why KAEL did the things he did. He didn't want to associate anymore with Heli and Hestia & he's sorta indifferent. But the only thing I wanted was for him to atleast communicate better. It made me feel bad for Hestia, also she is the wife whether it's a contract or nah.
(╯°Д °)╯╧╧ They still developed some sort of feelings. But, him being a little timid and not realising how Hestia would've felt. I felt infuriated somehow cause I wanted that bitch ass Diana to die. Also, I would've been happier, like more satisfied if Helio requested/begged to save Diana both to Hestia and KAEL together. Not him going and requesting Kael and Kael doing it.


And I also understand Hestia sorta needed to get out of being obsessed for revenge. I get that when KAEL himself doesn't want the revenge cause he was the victim in the end. Hestia has sorta no right to pursue kael's revenge for him. She circled her whole life around KAEL and to protect kale, to see him smile, to make him happy just for KAEL to sorta keep her in the dark with the miscommunication annd misunderstanding. & maybe that's why when Kael chose to save Diana without explaining it properly to Hestia. I went bonkers!!


Also, him just sorta doing it (sm3x) with her without even prepping her. I was like.... "okay." "Hestia just gonna take it cause he's her fave character"

I definitely felt like the ending was only like 60% satisfactory. Most of the time the major demographic for this type of story wants an ending that completely crushes the "enemy" but Diana's fate is pretty lackluster. For her to be such a huge part of the story and then she just fades into the background? Maybe if she was the type of person that absolutely reveled and thirsted for all attention to solely be on her would it be a more satisfactory ending. It just feels like she never actually learns her lesson

but what happened btw hestia and kael after this incident? did hestia forgive him? did they have a happy ending? pls spoil me

nah cause i feel u completely. the novel had so many lackluster parts and there was a part where i truly thought kael was a red flag.. like bruh? where did his character development go? i also did not like how even until the end, hestia did not find a reason to keep living and it was always for kaelus.. until the end… hestia basically had like very little to no development. diana fucked off to the temple and no other news from her. we don’t even know if she comes to regret any of her actions. it was good, but the ending was ass. there was so much potential and i felt like it just could’ve been a lot better.

Ikr... I totally agree with you on this. The character development wa 0-none.The story for most part left me so frustrated, unhappy with a lot of mixed feelings. And Kael in a way added to it for me.

It would've been better if Hestia had found to live for herself and happiness instead of always going Kael kael... Cause to me it seemed like hestia would cross the ocean for Kael while kael would only cross the lake. Idk weird analogy... Plus, Heli and Diana... Especially Diana, I don't think she learned anything what so ever or even regretted her actions. That bitch so stuck up she wouldn't ever. （/TДT)/

my goodness, i absolutely HATED that part. it was so unlike kaelus’ character, like who is this guy?? it just felt so different from what he was like and so unnecessary. ugh.

but yeah!! ik a lot of other ppl also heavily disliked many parts of the novel as well, in regards to kaelus’ actions and the development of certain characters. u r not alone in thinking so lol. it was fun to rant about it!!
