lol I can’t continue cause of the way Dan is acting. Like mfucker is over here crying cause the seme didn’t rape him while in heat like bitch I get you’ve been through hell, but begging to be raped while not in your right mind is weird as fuck. Then the fact that he is not aware of his surroundings like he gets approached by weird ass mfuckers and instead of protecting himself he falls for their shit all the time. Like I like the uke and I feel sorry for what he’s been through but he’s just tooooo annoying for me. For someone who’s been through what he has, shouldn’t he have a better sense of danger and learn to protect himself instead of always crying n getting rescued by seme and that girl lol.

Won't say they didn't make him into the really innocent type, which is not exactly my cup of tea either, but everyone reacts to trauma differently and everyone's personality is different. Like the seme, he's a nice polite guy who does what he thinks he needs to do to get by. He's working, whoreing himself out to people who'd be interested in an easy fuck for money/housing (mostly assholes), and demeaning himself because thats how he's internalized what the world has effectively been saying to him since he was born. If the scenes of him being rescued didnt play, I'm sure it'd either be him dealing with the assholes to get a place to stay or running away last minute. He does what he can but he literally has no family, adult guardian, and no stable pay. Fighting for severance pay did not work out (i wonder if the coworker who was 'on hjs side'was the one who stole the goods) and probably has not before. That's the amount of fight i expect for someone who probably doesn't really like conflict to begin with.

My point is that he's not the street wise adult he could be in another world, but the face of another way people adapt to trauma, likeable or not. Honestly, he's more realistic to me than the ml who literally falls in love at first sight. That's the kind of story this is though.
