It was clear from the beginning that our MC has trauma from his sister and that she is an awful one. She isn't just potrayed like this without reason

Additionaly "the golden child" siblings exist even in real life.

Yeah I get what u mean. I also dnt know y. When in fact hetero women are natural allies for gay men if u think about it

what...? so everytime a woman in bl is portrayed as a villain it's misogyny? half the population is female?? i could understand back then when there were mostly women portrayed as villains in bls, but that trend has for sure gone down. Especially if you can read this manhwa, you can see that this "villain" (which she is like, not. she's just portrayed as a bad person), has an actually complex relationship with her brother.

I can only assume that you think everytime a bitchy woman just appears in a bl it's sexism. Especially when there were other women portrayed in a good way, which does not happen for bls that try to paint women in a bad light.

People that wanted to talk about the rampant misogny in BLs are not talking about "women being villain = misogny", they were talking about the uneqaul balance in the male to female antaganist ratio in all BLs and the lack of *any* portrayal of women in a positive way in a piece of work.

I'm genuinely concerned over this thought processes, nuance is free.

this is what i mean when i say mangago users lack brain power ( ˃o˂ )

these ppl don't have the ability to read more than 2 paragraphs, or else they might not be able to make the most brain dead takes. a dead dog would be able to use more brain cells when reading a manhwa and making an analysis.

i can only assume some1 didn't actually read the speech bubbles and was reading it as a picture book, but to take a look inside some1s empty head filled with piss, concrete and shit is not a place i want to be in.

this was meant for the a lot of ppl not u specifically just a trend i noticed recently

whatever i say tho, im glad we can agree

Lmao! This misogynistic fool has been trolling for sometime now! Wonder when we'll be rid of this parasitic worm!

Anybody having read the manga is able to surmise that the author in this case has fallen back on the same over-used trope. N probably there will be an arc where the ml will choose between the siblings--its not coincidence that the mc & his sister looks identical. And we know he will choose the mc-yaoi manga & all that( ̄∇ ̄")

ngl being blocked by some1 on mangago is kinda hilarious, was wondering why i couldn't reply LOL. imma js copy what i said tho:

js tell me where the misogyny is: the fact the woman is a villain when the ml is also heavily foreshafowed as being sus? esp when other female characters aren't portrayed as villains?

Nothing in your second paragraph says anything abt misogyny in the last chapter.

the fact is that the sister is a good villain, not for a reason she's a women *just* to get in the way of the relationship like actual sexist tropes, but for the fact that she's the golden child and has been draining brown hair for financials, proves the author is trying to make a 3 dimensional character. even if she didn't get in the way of the relationship, the audience would still not like her.
also, this isn't necessary for it to not be sexist, but sexist works usually have men be 'better' but in what way is that the case here, both the black hair and the girl are foreshadowed as being bad. i do think it's bad planning for her to physically appear this late in the manhwa, but this happens for every single manhwa, "villain appearance late game". it's very cheap, and makes it seem like the authors run out of plot points, but again, it isn't specific to women.

like clearly i find this topic interesting, so just to see it be reduced down to "woman bad in bl = misogyny har har" is downplaying the actual issue of sexism in manhwa. I've complained about bls using women as objects to play as villains so the couple can get together, but you also need to, ya know, read the individual manhwa to understand what it's getting at.

im also wierded out by the fact that some1 dissagreeing with u on this specific topic makes them a sexist? like damn ig u can only be the right one on this pedastal ur on. cuz even if i am wrong abt the fact that this isn't misogynistic, where am i being misogynistic? im guessing youre saying it's from my ignorance, but i *am* trying to understand the point being made:

(this is a repeated of what i said before:)

    1. "the fact that the only well established villain is a woman?" - the ml is also very sus, also she has other character points like being the golden child and fake. However, I can see the point that her "fakeness" is usually a female-villain stereotype, but lots of bls have those types of villains that are also men nowadays.
    2. "Her timing doesn't add a lot to the story, other than making it easier for ml and mc to get together." This is kinda true and is common in stories where the woman is played to be an object. But the timing isn't *that* bad, she's been foreshadowed in the story before, shes not a cheap plot point cuz we knew she was gonna come.

But again, we don't know anything yet. We literally just met her. I could even say that this trope does play out in the future of the manhwa but nothing about what we have currently read says that. Of course we could make assumptions, but that's not reading the manhwa. That's making assumptions. I think using women as bitchy objects is bad story writing and turns me off in manhwa, i think u might think i enjoy it or dont care abt it, but it's objectively boring.

Ik this is crazy ppl rambling, i repeated myself a lot but again, its nice to talk abt the manhwa in a deep way.
    ヽ(ヅ)ノ

ik im js gonna get a "too long didn't read" or "i wasn't taught to read more than 2 sentences at a time" reply but i like talking abt manhwa, and i like rambling the most lol. im sure my activity shows my incoheritness however u spell it, but again fun for me to vomit my opinion on a manhwa on a screen hehe ๑>ᴗ<๑

i might seem rlly angry, i kinda wanted to see if the first person would break their nonchalance if i said smth rlly crazy which ig worked.
