1000 percent agree, they always do it as if to erase that it happened. They want to use the same trope, but they want to sanitize it for the readers, it is BS. I am still going to accept it because I love them and apart from this fcked sht that came out of no where, it has been really good. I don't know why authors constantly fall into this trope. There was also a way to write that scene so it was way more consensual even if you wanted him to pass out from aggrivating his wounds or whatever. They wanted a dubcon scene without the responsbility of writing one. They simply think acknowledging it is better than stories than skate past it.
This rarely ever happens in yaoi but the few cases where the seme actually realizes what he did was rape and that he should be ashamed of himself for his heinous acts and tries to take atleast some sort of accountability but everytime the uke goes "oh no it wasn’t your fault I actually wanted it too I could've easily gotten away if I wanted to ya'know you did not rape me" despite being absolutely miserable during the act
