I’m confused about your assessment. This chapter is focusing on her happier times and carcel, not Oscar traumatizing her. Ines states it herself, this was before things got bad. Yes she suffered unimaginably but this chapter is clearly not about her suffering, it’s about her happiness and letting the readers know how carcel was involved in this lifetime since we never knew of carcels role during her previous lives.
Bringing up the things Ines and carcel did to each other in the current life to justify her treatment towards him seems kind of off topic and redundant.
Also yes she suffered but carcel had no part in that. So her deciding to use carcel as a pawn when he’s never done anything cruel to her cannot be justified.
The initial issue was about carcel fucking other women before their marriage, no one is invalidating Ines' trauma. It's just that no one should really hate the characters by just them not being a virgin anymore and well because of their own circumstances that time. And at some point Ines was with Alejandro despite being married to the crown prince.
BUT THAT'S THE POINT we are not saying cheating is right but consider their circumstances atleast, Ines was abused and Carcel was manipulated. End. both of them had their valid reasons.
The spoilers from the novel confirms Ines was indeed manipulating him, and well she wasn't entirely right at that part, no one is really hating on our MC it's just that the standards being put to the two characters is ridiculous.
