You missed the main point, correlating color black and African Americans in every situation erases the history of the color.
The color black had many positive and negative meanings throughout history saying something is dark or black doesn't mean you are a racist or that the word blackmail is, just be aware when black means a race or black means a colour or other signifier

I know what they meant with that. I was talking about the translator. The translation was so awkward. When you translate from different language you try to chose a wording for such things, where the meaning gets across appropriate for the language you translate into. So "your black man" is something different in Korean, due to the word itself having a different meaning, that these words together have in English. young black man in English refers to a young black man. nothing else. there is no deep nothing behind it. what would have been a bit more accurate to get the meaning across would be maybe (if lazy) the young blackened man. i appreciate you explaining all this. it is true. colours have meaning. black and dark don't mean negative only and especially should not be used or seen as some reference to African africans. but in this context, it was just not it. wrong translation.

I do get mixed feelings with those… I mean ugly BLACK duckling…? unlucky BLACK cat… use ur brain. U don’t find anything off about it? Anything associated with black is usually always bad or evil. Hence why white ppl felt okay to be evil towards black people back then, or any poc in general. They associated our skin color with darkness. Don’t deliberately be ignorant please.

Be more respectful please next time even if you don't agree with me... the black duck is a known children story even before slavery existed so were the Salem witch hunts in the 16th century associating black cat to witches, the color black has been in history a color with many meanings one is the color of monk clothing, see the provided link, color of royalty and many things, color of mourners, the color of fashion, etc
Automatically connecting the color black with african people is a hasty thing, maybe even a bit lacking in imagination. What I'm trying to say tgis is one of the situation where racism isn't it, where as Morgan freeman said once "to end racism, don't talk about it"
One of the reasons English is the way it is is the biblical translation of light is God and darkness is evil producing a language of white idolizing and producing racist ideology.
Knowing the is half the battle, and to battle racism is to acknowledge it, not erase what is existing and simply replace it
cause of the good comment
But the part about "young black man" is a bit....ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
