Ainz definitely deserves this treatment because he is such a dumbass.
Adopting the children of your first love and dumping them to your grieving wife who you didn't care for is a recipe for a disaster.
If he was planning to divorce anyway he should've done it as early as possible and hire a nanny or something
Ainz is not a sh*tbag he is infact a good guy and a gentleman at that.
What happened to him and all those is just a bad fortune..
In spoilers ,some great philosophers were babbling how the great relationship between them is something only for them to know.. it is a bond of friendship and comradeship etc . Fu of bull crap .

Anyway it is pure bullsh*t ,Ainz and the new marchen should atleast have a romantic bond but no both are using the kids .. for ainz the kids are mirror image of his crush and his childhood friends while for the new marchen they are the mirror image of her siblings..

What happened with ogmarchen was her fault ,you don't sleep with a person who is drunk unless you are drunk too ,you internally knew this is bad and tried to throw him but you also externally accepted the embrace.
The kid came out dead coz of her and her father , her father physically abused her while she was pregnant in the beginning later when she came in the house as a wife she started taking sedatives for her insomnia..
She and Ainz both were just the victims of their own situations and their families..
They didn't deserve this all..
Atleast ainz could've got his happiness instead of just those kids..
Coz ogmarchen who us now reincarnated in SKorea has a life full of happiness and content .. that's it..
Both should have got the CHANCE . Ogmarchen got it so why not ainz..
He is now able to express his feelings too if nothing but in a discreet manner atleast
