Specifically for this one, I think rather than obsessed with “villainess” she is more like “if it were me, I’ll do a better job”
For all the chapter so far, I get the feeling the FL thinks that the og villainess could win every debate that happen but she didn’t. Like she just gave up.. So the FL feel frustrated, hence “I’ll prepare meticulously so I win every banter and fight”
And second reason, the FL here like the villainess personality more. A bold, gutsy, and straightforward person. Eventho the choice of word is too much, it was never a lie.
And third, my personal opinion which in parallel with other villainess, idealistic person didn’t live long. Not necessarily means I hate kindness. It’s just to live long while protecting my love ones, we need to be realistic.
Isn’t it be my fault if I invite a killer to my house, wish a one night stay could change him and ended up seeing my family murdered?
But yeah, if it were me I’ll just live as an ordinary person. Not a villainess and absolutely not a saintess too. I don’t think I could be kind to people who hurt me.

Ok I'm slightlyyyy getting tired of this trope. Can anyone explain why our fl few others I've read are soo obsessed with being villainess? I mean what's do fun in being misunderstood and hated? ╥﹏╥
