I’m Arab so come from a culture that’s worst when it comes to not controlling your life due to your parents. I understand the situation but I cannot relate to the fl her weak personality is not my thing. She is frustrating

nah, but going to the directors room is jumping from the frying pan into the fire, no? It's a lame plot device if she really wants to avoid him and her father. Grab her purse, take an elevator and go for a coffee.
but then she would be in more trouble, on the contrary of her father finds her at the director's room he would be delighted to say the least and she won't be in trouble
If you can relate to her actions, then the story is for you lol. The truth remains that the author wrote her as someone frustrating.

OMG ikr, the FL is so frustrating. All her actions are so naive like she's practically doing the last thing I person trying to hide a pregnancy would do. But then again, the author wanted to portray her like that
This.. honestly! People are different from each other and there are many types of personalities out there. This is why I cannot fight the author for her/his choice, but I def can criticize it and stop reading lol. This story is just not for everyone as this is a fl that’s either written by a man or by (not a girl’s girl) author.
I feel like the author is taking the easiest way to move the story along. If the FL was more clever and truly avoiding the ML and truly keeping her pregnancy secret, then this story would take a lot more time and mental effort for the author to come up with realistic reasons the ML would know and find her. So her character's intelligence is thrown under the bus. :/
