How's the plot shitty when two people who love each other end up together?
How is the author going to make the mc have this long ass redemption arc of getting over someone just for him to go back… its embarrassing and quite sad.
Not every story needs a long-ass redemption arc that just gets tedious and cheesy. The redemption arc was there and sufficient in my opinion. Even the years of forced separation was something Yahwi took on as self-punishment. I mean what else do we need in a redemption arc?

Nahhh it’s not that shitty, i read more shitty manga ones in the past, the black hair dude already suffered enough from his mistakes in the past and vows to change, and he proves to MC that he deserves a second shot that’s why the MC choose him again

This is the most beautiful simplest explanation for Yahwis character and I love it. I hate how people behave like his efforts to win back jooin didn't matter just because they think so. His effort clearly worked and he won his boo back
When will people understand that jooins character development is about self actualisation. Jooin speaks so irrationally throughout the series which causes all the mess in the first place. Him growing and realising life is not a test and that all his decisions are valid simply because he is the one that made them. He further explains that he is living his own life and that he doesn't have to make everyone happy. Simply put his character development is him not being indecisive and being honest with what he truly feels even if he won't make everyone happy. This aligns well with why he chose Yahwi and not Cain. He was finally being honest himself and not just doing the "right" thing.
Jooin after being hurt pretends he doesn't want Yahwi, he even pretends he doesn't have feelings for him and pretends to love Cain. He creates a messy situation with these lies he tells himself throughout the series. He even further refuses to listen to anyone until an outside party(Ryan) basically tells him he'll legit ruined lives with his behaviour.

Just because they end up together doesn't mean the plot is good, them ending up together is inevitable it was going to happen anyways
I dropped this like years ago cuz the plot was shitting asf and somehow the plot stayed shitty. This is why TWINKS should not be allowed to make their own decisions
