In the novel, according to some who have been posting spoilers and some Korean comments left in the official site, Crown Prince didn't have feelings for Hestia. It truly was just respect. At this point in the story, he's all but jaded about love and feels exhaustion just being with pink haired lady. Though he does envy Kael not because he has feelings for MC but because their marriage is what he wanted for pink hair and himself.
That's what I remember reading in a spoilers thread.
