i think he's bad at expressing emotions. sometimes one person is better and being openly affectionate in a relationship. i have definitely been the more closed off person in some of my past relationships. i hope the author is using this as a chance to show character development.
Their relationship honestly feels kinda one sided. Feels like the uke is head over the hills meanwhile the seme is like "meh". The uke is absolutely lovely and precious. I want to protect him.
