Pretty sure the brother has been infected since the beginning cuz after they are found and he's put in the hospital, there's no other time for him to become infected. When that infected esper visits him, the infection in him responses to the "greeting" as it were
Was that his brother? So is his brother officially an anomaly and the MC doesn't know? I knew he had a dream like that but it seems it's real.
