It's like this in the first life when demons first appeared they don't have clear way on how to identify demons like set
But later as he fought more demon creatures they develop a skill and that is they can smell demons vikir is a demon hunter in his first life now in his second life he was able to smell set being a demon in their first meeting due to his experience in his first life
Also later on demons can smell on vikir as well being a demon hunter because they can smell all the demons he was able to kill
sorry but if vichir was so used to the demon smell, why didn't he notice it in his past life.
