WAY TO MAKE A CLIFFHANGER!
Taehyuk fell down a cliff and got hurt, so he was dying - he was metaphorically in a pathway that led to a river where a death god man was waiting on a boat to take him to the afterlife.
However, Hyo-Un stops him from boarding the boat, and plans to save his life with the orb. However, the death god on the boat tells him that would be an unnatural interference on fate, since Taehyuk's is to die young in all of his lives, and changing that would have consequences.
Hyo-Un is ready to accept whatever consequences to bring Taehyuk back, and so he saves his life with the orb.
Thing is, the consequence is that, when Taehyuk wakes up, he's lost all of his memories of Hyo-Un. Now their roles are reversed.
And then THE DAMN SEASON ENDS.
It's said to return in June-July.
