Since he didn't die, I assume the creator of the world would make your body in npc mode. It's like duplicate your soul and put it into your own body while you(real soul) does the plot.

Well seems like it’s an illusion but if it were real, like a real choice “go back to your world alive or stay with us”, what would you choose? I would go back, but because my mom depends on me and I have a loving husband, but in his context I don’t really know what I would do. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
