Unpopular opinion but Garam isn’t as innocent as you all think he is.
Like the dude literally uses the seme for his dick then acts out when he sees him with other people.
Not saying the seme isn’t an ass but I think the BOTH of them have some maturing to do

Noone has to agree with me but at least I’m someone who can notice the issues

Idk, talk it out like adult’s rather than constantly screaming at each other like middle schoolers

    Lostcloud February 25, 2024 5:05 am

True, people don’t wanna hear that though.
From what I’ve noticed bl readers constantly try to defend the bottom’s even when they’re in the wrong.
80% of this story is him screaming either inside his head or doing some shit like punching pillows or masturbating on his roommates bed.
Personally I wish theyd hurry up and communicate

That's not on Garam tho. You cant have a conversation with someone who doesnt respect you. Garam had the capacity for conversation but J didn't care or listen to anything he said. He was constantly pushing boundaries and being incredibly rude and aggressive. How are you supposed to communicate with someone who tells you to your face how much they don't value your thoughts? I understand the frustration with lack of communication but it's not on Garam to fight to talk to someone he knows is using him and doesn't respect him. J is the one who established the nature of that relationship.

I’m glad someone pointed this out because the people who think he’s 100% innocent is kind of concerning

    nimms February 25, 2024 5:13 am

Yeah I agree, but I think the balance of innocence goes higher for garam

If you caught someone masturbating on your bed when you don’t know them would you respect them? Don’t think so.
Respect goes both ways, if they talk it out rather than Garam constantly running away it’d work out better.
Like in this chapter, the seme is finally trying to open up, but what’s garam doing? Running away once again

I won't even lie J definitely deserved to get rejected the way he did and needs to do some groveling. But on the other hand I also see where Jujucat and Lostcloud are coming from and agree with them as well in regards to them communicating. I totally forgot about the whole masturbating on J's bed in the very beginning. Thanks for y'all insights and perspectives. (I won't lie Garam would have gotten snatched if that had been me. But that's just me.) It was very disrespectful when Garam had his bed or use of the bathroom to get his jollys off. Especially not knowing when his roommate would potentially show. So in that respect Garam created a situation in the beginning that caused things to start off very badly and J had every right at that time to be angry. But then they later decide to become fb's. At that point the disrespect should have ceased and if J didn't stop Garam should have told J to fk off found someone else to fulfill his desires in that way, not tolerating the homophobic verbal abuse from J. But since that didn't happen they both are ultimately responsible for most past events rather people want to acknowledge that or not. (Not the sa while sleeping tho.) And they both used each other for sex. If there had been more communication instead of talking down to the other, yelling and screaming out loud/in their head, throwing tantrums and running away, maybe things wouldn't have gotten this bad due to quite a few misunderstandings. I just hope they both get something from this as well as suffer some to gain perspective, all while J is mainly doing some groveling lol.
But yay Garam for having a backbone and making J's face hit the ground. Again J def deserves his arrogance and ego to be knocked down to learn some humility.٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Low key, I can't wait for the communication and make up.

Of coure you'd be disgusted and upset, Garam shouldnt have done that lmao. Nasty and childish. But that wasn't their first meeting. In the first chapter we literally see J being angry and inconsiderate. Garam tries to greet him, he ignores him and launches a bag across the room in anger and storms out. He ignores Garam trying to tell him his gripes about being loud late at night and doesn't even acknowledge him. And his only response to Garams complaints is "You do what I say, I wont fix my behavior". J was like that before the incident. He just added homophobia to his list. The author does a great job I think at showing that, at every single turn J completely ignores Garams feelings. And he does so because his ego and his top priority are being persistent enough to get what he wants. IN THIS CHAPTER J IMMEDIATELY assumes that Garam is down to be with him after being confessed to. He's a narc and doesn't know how to properly empathize. He's homophobic, he's rude, he's prideful, and he's classist evidently. I'm struggling to think about any instance where J actually wanted to talk and wasn't just scheming to get Garam to fall into his hands. Garam isn't absolved from his stupidity but it is absolutely ABSURD to say that he contributed to the lack of communication when he is trying to establish boundaries between him and J. And every single argument is caused by J intentionally pushing those boundaries

I mean it's not that I disagree, they're both young and they're obviously being immature
But I think we all know who's the bigger jerk between the two

At least I appreciate the fact that uke is not being a naive pushover rn
