Enemies to lovers doesn't even work in real life my parents used to tell me stories about their "enemies to lovers" esque love story but as i grow up i just realized my mom has stockholm Syndrome

they aren't. my mom's given up on leaving him. it might sound cruel but me and my brother just yeet ourselves out of that house. we only talk to our mom.
I love enemies to lovers tropes in 2d works and written ones but I doubt it happens in real life maybe extremely rare cases especially if your enemy just killed your whole family like this one. No love left for that one I think.
