Don't worry. He isn't dead yet. That's why Iku got slapped. And there's vol 2/sequel for this manga. But prepare your tissues is all I can say.

I mean, I started to think and isn't he just in a coma or something? And his spirit is refusing to go back to his body 'cos he wanted to die and couldn't? And the girl slapped Iku 'cos she thought he was being cruel or disrespectful since Mimori is not dead YET? All these questionmarks 'cos it's all how I hope it is 'cos I don't like ghost stories where they have to be separated in the end(hence I don't like most ghost stories). I just want them to be happy and enjoy geeking out together for the rest of their lifes!
